KK organizes concerts in unusual venues such as caves, ancient oil presses, living rooms, town squares, a Selcuk caravansary and hospital, Byzantine churches and monasteries, an Ottoman medresse, and art galleries.
provides a forum for young composers to refine their compositions under the guidance of internationally renowned composers, to work with performers dedicated to contemporary performance practice, and to hear their music played and recorded by great players in amazing venues.
Since 2009, KK has invited young musicians to workshops in Cappadocia and Istanbul, ranging in age from 12- 30 from Turkey, Germany, Italy, Iran, Canada, US, Afghanistan, France, Syria, Russia, Columbia, Japan and England....
